Fluconazole tablets are used to treat infections caused by fungi and yeast, one of the most common being thrush.
This product can only be sold by a registered pharmacy therefore we require you to complete a few short questions at checkout. All Pharmacy only products (P) are required to be delivered with delivery confirmation, which is included in the price.

The active ingredient in each capsule is fluconazole. Fluconazole targets the fungi causing thrush (Candida) so that they stop producing ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. Disrupting ergosterol production breaks down the fungal cell membrane, preventing Candida from spreading.
This thrush tablet works by stopping the growth of Candida. It usually starts to work within one day however, it may take 3 days for your symptoms to improve and up to 7 days for your symptoms to disappear.

The full course of treatment is a single dose of one Fluconazole capsule, so you only have to take it once to clear the thrush infection. The Fluconazole capsule should be swallowed whole with a glass of water.
You should not take this medication if you are allergic to fluconazole, another similar antifungal medication or any of the other ingredients in the oral treatment. This treatment is also not suitable for children under 16 years old, or for those who suffer from porphyria. It is important to always read the fluconazole patient information leaflet before use. Fluconazole capsules contains Lactose and Azorubine (E122), a small amount of lactose (milk sugar).
The 150 mg capsules also contain E122 (Azorubine), which can cause an allergic-type reaction, including asthma. This reaction is more common in those people who are allergic to aspirin.
