Normal blood sugar levels typically range between 70 and 130 mg/dL before meals and less than 180 mg/dL two hours after meals.
After eating, blood sugar levels may rise, but they should generally return to normal range (less than 180 mg/dL) within two hours.
It’s important to test sugar levels regularly, especially before meals, before bedtime, before and after exercise, when feeling unwell, and if experiencing symptoms of high or low blood sugar. Additionally, follow your healthcare provider’s recommendations for testing frequency based on your individual needs.

As a person who hates needles, I put off buying a test kit for as long as I could! This kit is SO easy to use and even I am using it quite happily on a regular basis! Meter requires a very small drop of blood to function and is both fast and easy to use. The price of this kit is quite unbelievably low, as are costs of the replacement lancets and test strips, when compared to others I looked at. Delivery was fast…even to Spain where I live…and I will certainly continue ordering from Home Health UK!
