No, an ovulation test is specifically designed to detect the surge in Luteinising Hormone (L.H.) that precedes ovulation and is not meant to detect pregnancy. Ovulation tests are focused on identifying the best time for conception by tracking your fertile window, which typically occurs a few days before ovulation. For detecting pregnancy, you should use a dedicated pregnancy test designed to detect the hormone hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) present in your urine after successful conception.
