Pregnancy Test Cassettes measure the presence of the hormone hCG in your urine. The hormone is usually present and can be detected by a home pregnancy test 7-10 days after conception. The further into the pregnancy, the higher the hCG levels in your urine, but this test can show a positive result as early as the first day after your missed period.
Our pregnancy cassette tests are the exact testing kits used by the NHS to confirm a pregnancy. The test is conducted by using the pipette provided to dispense the urine samples onto the testing section of the cassette. Positive results may be visible within 1 minute, depending on the level of hCG present. To confirm a negative result, wait up to 5 minutes. Using an NHS approved test at home is the preferred option by many, including health care professionals.
